Our story begins in a galaxy far, far away. In the blistering sun, a tradie is frustrated because the office keeps sending Work Orders for assets he already replaced. Meanwhile, in an air-conditioned office, a master data maintainer is banging her keyboard in frustration because the field teams don't report those replacements—then blame her for the incorrect data.

These battle-hardened warriors set out to explore other galaxies in search of answers. Along the way, they faced many trials and tribulations: unplanned asset failures, incorrect data, and inefficient processes eating into valuable time.

By visiting each other's worlds, our veterans learned how their planets relate. They eventually landed at Connecting SAP Conference on the Gold Coast to swap stories of epic production fails and unplanned outages with a community of fellow travellers.
