I am an Asset Management Strategist at Enerven, with over 40 years of experience in the energy utilities sector. My career began as an HV electrical apprentice—a trade and practical foundation that still informs every decision I make today.

When I packed away the tool kit and moved from the field, I transitioned into roles as a Planner and Senior Planner. Those years in the heart of maintenance delivery gave me a deep, practical understanding of what it takes to get work done safely and efficiently. It was also where my journey with SAP began; I was involved in our initial SAP deployment and have since helped customers implement their own maintenance plans. This experience led me to become the product owner for a SAP-to-SAP interface and, ultimately, the "go-to" person for SAP issues and solutions across our business unit.

While I operate at a strategic level, I remain a tradie at heart, but I’ve realised I’m now a "Data Tradie". My focus is on building the platforms and processes—leveraging my years of SAP experience—to help maintenance personnel see the direct connection between their daily activities and long-term asset lifecycle management.

Outside of work, I am a dedicated student of Taekwondo and Hapkido. I’ve found that my practice in the dojang complements my approach to asset management; both require a relentless focus on foundational discipline, the balance between efficiency and power, and the philosophy of continuous refinement.
