Rana leads the enterprise AI and automation agenda at Village Roadshow Group, spanning Theme Parks, Cinemas, Film Distribution and Corporate. His clearest proof point sits in finance: DIANA, an autonomous duplicate invoice detection agent built with the Accounts Payable team, which removed 60 to 70 percent of manual review effort and returned a 440 percent three-year ROI. It is the template for how the group is approaching autonomous finance more broadly, replacing human review of high-volume, rules-bound transactions with agents that run continuously and escalate only the exceptions.

He owns a portfolio of 30-plus AI and automation initiatives across enterprise AI platforms, agentic automation and productivity tooling, with accountability for prioritisation, business case development, governance and delivery. He chairs Village Roadshow's AI working group, which sets the sequencing and investment logic for that portfolio.

Rana built Village Roadshow's AI capability from the ground up. That included a 12-week AI literacy program with over 160 contributors and engagement three to five times industry benchmarks, and the guardrails the group now runs on, covering data loss prevention, access control and information classification. He holds a Master of Information Systems.
