Klaus-Peter Sauer is a data warehouse expert in the SAP product management team focusing on SAP Business Data Cloud and SAP Datasphere. Starting his career in 2000 as a SAP BW consultant, KP held various key positions in consulting as well as pre-sales. As the Technical Lead of the SAP COE in EMEA at Teradata, he supported major customers in all industries in delivering sustainable DWH architectures across-systems for more than 5 years. In 2012 he joined the global HANA COE at SAP as an expert focusing on data warehousing with the SAP HANA platform, followed by a 2 year stint in the strategy & go-to market team for data warehousing. KP is also an author of various books about SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP Business Data Cloud.

Klaus-Peter holds a Master of Business Administration from the Canterbury Business School (UK), and pursued undergraduate studies in computer science and business administration at the Philipps University Marburg, Germany as well as the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK.
