At Mitre 10, an emailed PDF now triggers an intelligent, end-to-end process that extracts payment information, supports business review and posts it into SAP S/4HANA—all without adding customisation to the core.

The event-driven architecture uses Microsoft Graph webhooks to capture incoming remittance advice and initiate processing. SAP Document AI extracts data from the PDF asynchronously, while SAP Integration Suite orchestrates the workflow across Microsoft and SAP environments. A custom SAP BTP application provides a configurable human-in-the-loop review step and real-time processing visibility before the information is posted into SAP S/4HANA RISE.

While developed for accounts receivable, the solution provides a transferable clean-core pattern for turning unstructured documents into governed ERP processes. Minesh will share the architecture, integration approach and design decisions behind a workflow that has reduced manual data entry while improving processing speed and accuracy.
