To comply with audit and segregation of duties recommendations, CS Energy was tasked with establishing a new HRIS function within its People & Culture team in 2024. I was engaged to help set-up and establish this new HRIS capability.To establish the HRIS capability, I had to complete the following tasks/deliverables –1) Quantify and scope the responsibilities of the new HRIS function. This included identifying which business processes, system(s), stakeholders/customers, skill set and resourcing requirements;2) Design and establish the Service Management Process framework utilised by the new HRIS team, to ensure it complies with regulatory and industry standards;3) Asses exiting skills, interests and potential of existing resources and create development plans to ensure skill sets matches the capabilities required from the HRIS team.
